Program Description:

America was founded on the principles of civil liberties for all. Unfortunately, freedom was not guaranteed to all individuals. This event will examine the nation’s history of Black Codes and Jim Crow era laws that enforced segregation and denied constitutional rights to African Americans from slavery to freedom.
