Grade 3 Outing to the Two Oceans Aquarium
Dear Parents

This quarter as part of our Project Based Learning (PBL) the Grade Three learners have been learning about the ocean and the harmful effects of sea pollution. We will  be visiting the Two Oceans Aquarium as an outing that includes a school curriculum-aligned lesson in the Discovery Centre on Life in the Rock Pools. We will learn more about animals and their adaptability to their surroundings and the effects of pollution.

The lesson will be followed by a tour through the Aquarium.

Tuesday 4th February 2025
Departure time from school: 08h00
Departure time from Aquarium: 13h00

The learners will be transported by Springbok Atlas buses to and from the outing. Class teachers will accompany the children for this outing.

The cost for the outing is R231 per learner and will be billed to your account. Learners must arrive at school no later than 07:45 and can be collected as usual after school or their chosen extra murals.

Learners should be dressed in their PE clothes and must bring their lunch with them in a small backpack. We encourage learners to pack a healthy lunch and something that is easy to eat.
