FMD CHRISTMAS ARTS PROJECT
Barts and the London Arts is a new initiative which aims to bring together, explore and display creative works from both students and staff in FMD.

We invite all staff and students to take part in the FMD Christmas Arts Project and to create a piece of artwork. The artwork can be in any media e.g. sketches, drawings, paintings, photography, musical composition, embroidery, carving, painted vinyl records, jewellery, poetry, crochet, in fact anything that inspires you.

We will display this work in an exhibition  around Christmas time and celebrate end of the year with mince pies, music and your art. The theme for the exhibition will be The Human Dimension of Healthcare

For inspiration: examples of other student work can be found here: https://sites.google.com/view/humanflourishingmeded/creative-enquiry-projects/creative-arts-ssc

And here is the art work from the Selfcare in Healthcare exhibition that was held in May in the Old Library.

If you are interested please submit a Google drive link OR email n.hayes@qmul.ac.uk a jpeg of your work by Friday 2nd December, 2022. A 200-300-word reflection on your piece of art is also required, this will be displayed with the artwork. You can submit up to three pieces for consideration.

Works and reflections will either be displayed physically or electronically during the exhibition. We will contact you at a later date to arrange delivery of your artwork and details of how it will be displayed.

We hope that you take part in this project, it should be a lot of fun.
