 The lecture is titled: " Innovative Approaches to Cardiovascular Rehabilitation: AI and Technology in Exercise Prescription"

 Abstract:

Advancements in AI and monitoring technologies are transforming cardiovascular rehabilitation with precise, personalized exercise prescriptions. These tools improve exercise intensity accuracy and integrate real-time physiological monitoring via wearable technology, enhancing patient safety and optimizing rehabilitation outcomes. Recent studies have demonstrated the effectiveness of these technologies in increasing the functional capacity and overall cardiovascular health of patients, thereby underscoring the critical role of technology in the evolution of cardiac rehabilitation practices. This presentation will examine the impact of these technological innovations on contemporary cardiovascular rehabilitation strategies, highlighting their potential to transform patient care through enhanced precision and personalization.

 

Prof. Dr. Gerson Cipriano Junior, PhD, MSc, MBA, FESC, is an Associate Professor in the Graduate Programme in Health Sciences and Technologies at the University of Brasília (UnB), a Research Scholar at the University of Miami, and a Fellow of the European Society of Cardiology. He has extensive expertise in Clinical Exercise Physiology, Cardiovascular Rehabilitation, and Human Functionality, with research interests in cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, exercise physiology, AI applications in healthcare, and the systemic effects of reduced physical fitness post-COVID.
