All are welcome to attend the Current & Future Latina Writers: Rise Up! This panel gives a voice to Latina high school writers studying film at the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts. The students and Latina writer, Claudia Forestieri, will talk about their journey as writers and hopefully inspire future Latina writers. Moderated by Equity Coordinator, Esmeralda Xochitl Flores & Featuring Jimena Mendez, Claudia Forestieri, Angela Alvarado, Andrea Ramirez Romo, Juliana Diaz

"We want to highlight more diversity for our future generations especially in the writing area, whether that's writing scripts for movies or writing books.”
