GETHNAA is a synonym with adventure, and we have been conducting adventure camps for two and half decades now. We thank you for choosing us to give you a extensive understanding of adventure and you are rest assured that this camp will be a learning experience with fun.

Introduction
Adventure inherently has risks, to make sure you as guardian/parent/participant are well versed with this aspect is crucial. This form and the related details have been kept as brief as possible to give you the broad strokes. By no means is this exhaustive. Kindly read through the document and fill in the relevant details. In case there is anything that appears to be unclear do contact us. If there is any feedback about the format and the language of the form please share it with us.

OVERVIEW OF THE CAMP
The camp will have various Terrestrial /Aqua activities as per the programmes you have chosen. The levels of toughness of these activities are decided on the profile of the group.

The stay and travel will be in tents and dormitories common modes of transport like Buses/Train. Participants are urged to enjoy these variations.

Every camp will have a Camp officer/Manager. Professional instructors/trainers will be present during adventure related activities. Safety always comes first: the participants must get familiar with the name and contact details of the instructor in charge.

Please be aware that adventure has inherent risk, it is absolutely necessary for the participants to follow instructions and commands given by the instructor.

First aid will be present at all times, this is to treat minor cuts/bruises and to also provide a temporary relief until the person can be taken to a hospital.
A hospital could be 5-10 kms away and time to reach there may vary based on the terrain.

Note: Please do not expect the stay, toilets to be luxurious as this will be mostly in the wilderness, basic hygiene will be maintained. Clean tents will be provided where needed. This applies to food as well.


AREA & TRAVEL VANIVILAS SAGAR, HIRIYUR, CHITRA DURGA.

Camp duration: 5 days including starting and last day of activities.

General Area: The campsite is located at 25 km from Hiriyur on Hiriyur to Hosadurga road at bank of VanivilasSagar dam. The town nearby is Vanivilas Sagara which is 5KM from camp location.
Travel: We travel by a bus from Yavanika, NruapathungaRoad, Bangalore to camp. The journey is 200kms long and takes approximately 4/5hours from Bangalore.

ACCOMMODATION & FOOD AT CAMPSITE

Accommodation In tents/Dormitory: Separate tent/Dormitory areas for boys and girls. We recommend that participants carry their own sleeping bags/Blanket. However, we provide camping mats (no cots)for tents that are issued for the program duration. In Dormitory we provide Bed and Cot. Participants will stay at Tent/Dormitory occupants have to maintain their cleanliness.
Toilets& WC: Toilets are built structures, within building there are separate toilets and baths for boys and girls. Baths have running water and fittings. Toilets have WCsand hand faucets.
Food: Food is vegetarian there is variety and we take care of both taste and nutrition in planning the menu. There are no limited portions and participants are encouraged to eat well. Tea and Coffee are served every morning and evening filtered water is provided at all times to keep participants hydrated.

ACTIVITIES ON VANI VILAS SAGAR

Activities are Aqua sports (Kayaking, Rafting, Canoe, Banana ride, Surfing, Jet ski, Speed Boat ),Fitness class, Safety class, Basic First Aid.

ELIGIBILITY, REGISTRATION & PROGRAM FEE
Eligibility: The program is open to participants who are 10-18years of age

Registration: To apply, participants need to fill the registration form and submit the same to us along with the program fee. The registration form includes a consent form that needs to be signed by the parent. Participant also need to agree to and sign a code of conduct that they have to follow on camp.
Program Fee: Total Rs.2,000/- includes Transport, Activities and food and for BPL Card holder Rs.100/-
Payment & Cancellation: Payments can be made by drafts in favour of Director General GETHNAA. We also accept cash at our office only.
Registration Fee -Non refundable.
The camp are subsidised by the Department of Youth Empowerment & Sports, Government of Karnataka.


AREA & TRAVEL BARPOLE, COORG

Camp duration: 5 days including starting and last day of activities.

General Area: The campsite is located at South Coorg, close to Barpole River in Karnataka. The largest town nearby is Gonikoppa, 25 kms from camp.
Travel: We travel by a bus from Bangalore to campsite. The journey is 250kms long and takes approximately 6 hours with.

Accommodation In tents/Dormitory: Separate tent/Dormitory areas for boys and girls. We recommend that participants carry their own sleeping bags/Blanket. However, we provide camping mats (no cots)for tents that are issued for the program duration. In Dormitory we provide Bed and Cot. ACTIVITIES IN DANDELI, NORTH KARNATAKA
Activities Bouldering, Rappelling, Jumaring, Zip line, Trekking, Nature Awareness, Workshop on Snakes, Games, Tent Pitching, Map Reading, Navigation, Bird watching.

AREA & TRAVEL DANDELI, NORTH KARNATAKA

Camp duration: 5 days including starting and last day of activities.

General Area: The campsite is located at North Karnataka, close to Dandeli reseverve forest. The largest town nearby is Londa, 35 kms from camp.
Travel: We travel by a bus from Bangalore to campsite. The journey is 450 Kms. long and takes approximately 10 hours.
