Terms and Conditions
Welcome to our instrumental music program for grades 2-12! We are excited to have you as a participant and look forward to helping you develop your skills and passion for music. Before we begin, please carefully read the following terms and conditions:
Program Overview
a. The instrumental music program is available to students in grades 2 through to year 12.
b. The program will provide students with the opportunity to learn a musical instrument of their choice.
c. Lessons are 30-minute shared lessons (two students only) held during class time.
d. Lessons will be scheduled on a rotating timetable to ensure students are not missing the same class each week.
Enrolment and Fees
a. Enrolment in the program is open to all students in grades 2 through to year 12.
b. Payments will need to be made in full prior to the commencement of each term.
c. Fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
d. The program will be conducted during the school term and will consist of 8 weekly lessons.
e. The remaining weeks of term act as ‘makeup weeks’ for any missed classes rescheduled by HGC..
f. Cost is $30 per lesson per student.
Instrument Rental and Maintenance
a. Students are responsible for renting or purchasing their own instruments, HGC has partnered with Musicorp to make this an easy, cost effective process. Parents can contact Musicorp directly at - https://www.musicorp.com.au/ or on 1300858911.

Attendance and Participation
a. Students are expected to attend all lessons, if they cannot attend a lesson please email imp@hazelglencollege.com by 8am.
b. Lessons cancelled after 8am (on the day of the scheduled lesson) or non-advised absence are non-refundable.
c. Students who miss more than two lessons without prior notification will need to meet with Mr Marshall to discuss further involvement in the program.
d. Students who wish to withdraw from the program must notify the Director of Instrumental Music (Mr Damian Marshall) in writing before the start of the term.
Conduct and Discipline
a. Students are expected to behave appropriately during lessons. It is an expectation of the college that students uphold college values and behavioural expectations.
b. Any behaviour that is disruptive or disrespectful may result in dismissal from the program.
