Graduation and Commencement Application - Spring 2025
Rochester University holds commencement ceremonies at the end of every Spring Semester. Please see the Graduation and Commencement Application Deadlines chart below. 

If you are unsure if you have already applied, you can check the Tentative Graduation List at rochesteru.edu/graduation. You can also search "Graduation and Commencement Application" in your RU email for a copy of your responses to this form if you have previously submitted it. 

Information regarding the commencement ceremony will be sent to your RU email address.

Mailing Address for Diploma
Your diploma will be mailed to the home address we have on file. You can update your address by submitting the Address Change Request form on my.rochesteru.edu. You will also have an opportunity to verify your address through Parchment once we place the diploma order. 
Participation *
Will you be participating in the commencement ceremony? Note: The graduation fee is charged whether students participate in commencement activities or not.
Song Suggestion for Cap Toss
We will conclude our ceremony with a cap toss! Please let us know what song you would like to be played during this moment of celebration. Once we receive all of the suggestions, we will send out an email for voting!

  • Graduation Application fee (Second Bachelor's Degree) - $65
  • Graduation Application fee (Associate's Degree - Commencement Non-participant) - $65
  • Graduation Application fee (Associate's Degree - Commencement Participant ) - $95
Regalia
You will be responsible for ordering and paying for your regalia (cap and gown). All graduates participating in commencement must have regalia in order to participate. Additional information will be sent to commencement participants at a later date.
