Let's FULLY implement Initiative 83. Email Council today.
DC overwhelmingly voted for Initiative 83 last November, but now it's up to the DC Council to provide a budget for implementing it. Without a budget, the initiative will die.

On July 14, the Council approved funding to implement ranked choice voting — in other words, only half of the initiative.

Now, we need Council to finish the job by funding the other half: allowing independents to participate in taxpayer-funded primary elections. We need to lock down Councilmembers' votes ahead of the final budget meeting on July 28.

Write to your Councilmembers today to tell them that the people expect Council to fully enact the reforms they voted for.
