Trees for the Blanco Sign-Up
Application for Site Assessment and Tree Planting Services
TreeFolks, a Central Texas nonprofit with over 25 years of tree planting and education history, is leading the Blanco River Reforestation Project. The project is designed to restore the riparian forest along the Blanco River in Hays County damaged during the Memorial Day Weekend Floods of 2015. A healthy riparian, or riverside, forest will filter pollutants, slow flooding, shade the river and provide habitat for the wildlife of Central Texas.

Owners of affected land along the Blanco River in Hays County are eligible to apply for an on-site consultation with TreeFolks staff, creation of a tailored planting plan, and free tree planting services. Applicants must own the eligible property. TreeFolks will make every effort to serve landowners who meet the above criteria in the order in which applications were received.

Please be aware that this program depends on grant funding, contracts, sponsorships, and in-kind donations; we cannot guarantee that the program will be completely funded or completely free during all future planting seasons. TreeFolks will send a confirmation shortly after receiving your application. For questions, please contact us at (512) 443-5323 or e-mail
