Fall 2023 - Learn to Row Registration Form
Please fill out all of the requested information to register your son/daughter for one 2-day Learn-to-Row (LTR) session.  We are offering 2 sessions this Fall.  Students will need to attend both days in the selected session.
 
          - LTR #1: Sept 9 & 10: 8am - 12pm (8 hours total)
          - LTR #2: Sept 16 & 17: 1:30pm - 5:30pm (8 hours total)
   
Fee: $300.

The sessions will be conducted at the Passaic River Rowing Association (PRRA) @ 797 Riverside Ave, Lyndhurst, NJ 07071.

All potential rowers must pass a swim test PRIOR to attending a LTR session.  This may take time to schedule so do not delay!  The swim test form needs to be completed by a trained lifeguard and can be found here:   http://www.ridgewoodcrew.com/uploads/4/7/6/4/47643011/rc_swim_test_certification_form_april_2019.pdf

A copy of your completed test should also be emailed to this address for quick delivery, but we will need the original for our files mailed to the address below.

After the rowers complete one LTR session, they can join our development team training program.  

IMPORTANT SCHEDULE NOTE: Rowers will begin each session indoors on rowing machines before heading out onto the water.  While changes are rare, the schedule is subject to change at the discretion of the Head Coach.  Weather conditions may cause a shift in the times, or cancellation.  We will reserve the weekend of Sept. 23 & 24 for possible makeup sessions, if needed.

In addition, I hereby release, absolve, and discharge Ridgewood Crew and its officers, directors, coaches, sponsors, supervisors, representatives, and any person transporting my child to and from any of the activities from any claim or liability in case of an accident, injury and/or medical and dental expenses incurred to my child. *
Terms and Conditions: 1. A one-time swim test certification is required for all Learn-To-Row students/first-time rowers and can be completed at a YMCA or by a certified lifeguard.  2. Receipt of full payment is required for participation confirmation.  3. NO REFUND, NO prorating of fees, NO switching of sessions and NO credits will be provided for athletes who drop out of the program. If you miss a session, a make-up practice is allowed once, subject to prior arrangement with the coach(es). 4. I give my full consent for my child to row in a multi-person boat (other than his/her siblings) and absolve Ridgewood Crew from any liability. *
