2013 William Hughes Mulligan Memorial Moot Court Competition - 6/18-6/21
This year's William Hughes Mulligan Memorial Moot Court Competition concerns two Fourth Amendment issues: (1) Whether the protective sweep exception to the Fourth Amendment applies in situations where there is not an arrest and officers are granted entry to a home through consent; (2) Whether the public safety exception to Miranda applies to non-traditional weapons, which cannot be, at the time of questioning, accessed by a third-party.
