If you're considering taking up archery, our Taster Session is the perfect starting point! You’ll visit the club, meet our experienced archers, and learn about our facilities.
After a safety briefing, you’ll get the chance to shoot a bow under the close supervision of your instructor. Don’t worry; we provide all necessary equipment, including a variety of bows in different weights and sizes, as well as arrows of various lengths to suit you!
Once you've finished shooting, you enjoyed the experience, we’ll share information about the Beginner’s Course required to join the club.
Taster sessions typically accommodate one or two participants and include one-on-one instruction. The session lasts about two hours and costs £20.00 per person, payable on the day.
You will be loaned all essential equipment, including:
- Recurve Bow (Left or right-handed)
- Arrows
- Finger tab
- Arm guard
Please wear well-fitting tops—avoid loose sleeves, baggy sweaters, scarves, or anything that might get caught in the bow (including hair). Closed shoes or sensible footwear are required; please refrain from open shoes or flip-flops.
Please note:
Our policy on leaving children unattended during the lessons are as follows.
Children over 13 may be left, as long as the form has been completed and contact information has been provided.
Children under 12 must be accompanied during the lesson.
