UPHA Mini Grant Application
The Utah Public Health Association is excited to announce its 2nd round of public health mini grants in the 2018-2019 year for public health projects that have the potential to improve the health of the citizens of Utah.. The application period will be open until July 16, 2018. Three grants of $1000 will be awarded. Awardees will be selected by the UPHA Board at the end of July 2018 and notified by the end of August 2018. The recipients of the mini grants will have 6 months to complete their project and will be required to do a presentation or a poster of their project at the 2019 Utah Public Health Conference.

Preference will be given to proposals that demonstrate the following criteria:

Feasibility --The degree by which a project can be implemented effectively with current resources and capacity.
Impact --The potential that the proposed project has to create positive change.
Evidence-based -- The proposed project is based on an evidence-based or promising practice, or is contributing to building evidence.
