2020 WaterFire Art & Craft Festival
WaterFire Providence and the PVD Artisans Market are pleased to present the second annual WaterFire Art & Craft Festival.
Join us for an indoor Art & Craft Festival on Saturday and Sunday, March 28 & 29, 2020, at the WaterFire Arts Center in the Valley Street neighborhood! Explore what our community has to offer with handmade works by local artists and food. Come learn about our community partners and volunteer opportunities. An event for families and friends of all ages!
Applications for the WaterFire Art & Craft Festival open on January 13, 2020.
Applications for the Festival will close on February 14, 2020. If the Festival is full by that date, we will offer a waitlist to interested artists in case of cancellations.

Setup and Break Down Times
Load In: Saturday March 28, 2020 7:00am- 9:00am**
Load Out: Sunday March 29, 2020 4:00pm

Booth Fees: $250
All booths are indoors, 10x10 spaces with Pipe and drape backing, no tents will be allowed for this festival.
Ample overhead lighting is provided. There are no dedicated power drops for each both. Vendors should plan their booths to accommodate using the available room lighting only.
Payment of Booth Fees will be accepted through a payment link that will be sent to you once you are accepted into the show. Once you receive the payment link, payment is due within 48 hours or your acceptance in the show will be forfeited. All payments are due no later than March 2nd.
This is a rain-or-shine indoor event. Cancellations must be made two weeks prior to the event date in order to receive a refund. No other refund requests will be considered.
In order to be considered, you must fill out this application. WaterFire and Bryce Studio will review applicants' work and will make selections based on craftsmanship and uniqueness of work. We do our best to curate a well-rounded event that includes a wide variety of showcased mediums.

Description of work to be sold
All artists must have a RI annual retail sales permit. Please enter your permit number below. If you do not have the annual permit at load in, you must purchase a temporary sales permit for $10. cash or check payable to Tax Administrator. The Festival has a blanket tax exemption for art, no tax will be collected for art sales.
Indemnification: a digital signature is required
By typing my name below, I hereby expressly indemnify Bryce Studio, Providence Artisans Market, WaterFire Providence, The City of Providence, and Barnaby Evans, and all employees and agents and volunteers of the above, from any and all costs or liabilities associated with my participating or selling art and or crafts at WaterFire and the Arts Festival Plaza, including any and all possible injury to myself or my employees or agents. My participation is voluntary and is done at my own risk. I am not an employee or agent of WaterFire Providence. I understand that the above parties are expressly not responsible for loss or damage to my artwork arising from any cause including weather, the public or any other hazard, nor for the safety of myself, or any of my employees, interns, friends, volunteers, etc. WaterFire and Bryce Studios can use the images of my art work and tent booth for promotion of the arts festival plaza.
