Black Girls RUN! was founded in 2009 as an online blog to journal the experiences of minorities at race endurance events. Our organization started to launch running groups across the country in 2010 and 2011 and to date we have 70 groups nationwide and over 220K members. It has been nearly 3 years since we launched our last group in Albany, NY, and in 2019 we are looking to onboard 10 new groups across the country!
