"We Still Live Here" FORJ mtg. 11/14 at 7pm
Where: Angier Elementary, 1697 Beacon St, Waban MA 02468

When: Wednesday, November 14th 7:00 - 8:30 PM followed by an optional meeting to discuss affinity groups at 8:30 PM

Note: Affinity Groups are groups by culture, sexual orientation, neighborhood, etc.) Be part of our first step to create Affinity Groups!

“We Still Live Here: Learning about the history and present-day experience of the Wampanoag Nation" - This will be an opportunity to gain knowledge as well as guidance about how to talk with your children about how Native Americans in the New England region have been treated and how they are reclaiming their language today. A tribe member will join us to answer questions. (Children 8 and up are welcome to attend!)
7-8pm Documentary Film
8-8:30pm Q&A with Jennifer Weston, Project Director, Mukayuhsak Weekuw (The Children's House), Wôpanâak Language Reclamation Project
