2024 Summer School, UTK - 8 Program Sign-Up

The UTK-8th Summer School program will be offered in person and is designed to support core instruction, provide targeted academic intervention in a small group setting, as well as in-person enrichment activities in the Arts and Sciences at all participating UTK-8 summer school sites.  

Eligibility: Current Los Angeles Unified students with District ID number in grades UTK-8th

Your child will receive a confirmation letter prior to the end of the school year. Please email your child's counselor for additional information. 

Technology Equipment: All students participating must bring a school device.

Summer School Program Acknowledgement:

·        I understand and acknowledge summer school will be offered Mon-Fri, from June 20 -July 19, 2024.  The first day of school will be on Thursday, June 20, 2024.

·        I understand and agree my child will attend classes daily, Mon – Fri from 8:30-12:30 pm.

·        I understand that school will be closed on Thurs.-Fri, July 4-5, 2024, in observance of Independence Day.

·        I understand that submitting an application is not a guarantee of my child’s enrollment.

Media Waiver

Los Angeles school district requests your permission to reproduce through printed, audio, visual, or electronic means activities in which your pupil has participated in his/her educational program. Your authorization will enable us to use specially prepared materials to 1) train teachers, 2) increase public awareness and promote continuation and improvement of educational programs including but not limited to honor roll school, school/district awards, and graduation/culmination, through the use of mass media, displays, brochures, websites, social media, approved blogs, and related district publications.
