    Application Descriptions

    Co-ordinator - As Emerging Agriculture Event Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for raising sponsorship funding and allocation of sponsorship dollars. You will also build and coordinate your team of VP's for 2017's year. A background in agriculture would be an asset. VP Online Marketing - As VP Marketing, you are responsible for the "online" portion of marketing Emerging Agriculture. This includes updating website and social media, as well as coordinating any strategies to raise awareness for Emerging Agriculture. You will be given a budget that will be allocated to raise awareness via social media. VP of Offline Marketing - As VP Offline Marketing, you are responsible for creating posters, schedules, handbooks, and any physical aspects of marketing. You will also be given a budget to create guerrilla marketing strategies across campus. VP of Academic - As VP of Academic, you are responsible for judging criterias as well as working with a sponsor to build a mini case that occurs within the event. VP Participant Relations - As VP Participant Relations, you are responsible for attracting students to the event from both Saskatoon and universities outside of Saskatchewan as well as the hospitality of students VP Logistics - As VP Logistics, you are responsible with the flow of the event to ensure satisfaction for both participants and spectators. VP Events - As VP Events, you will be working with VP Logistics and Committee Chair to ensure nightly and daily events during the hackathon are continually engaging. Volunteer - This is for students that wish to volunteer, but may not have enough time to participate in the event, or may not have time prior to the event to help coordinate. You will mainly be on call during the event to help with odd jobs.
