The Council of Religious Leaders of Metropolitan Chicago (CRLMC) is now accepting applications from emerging faith leaders up to age 45 to participate in the
2024 Faith & Trust Cohort to foster interfaith cooperation and build civic connection among the next generation.
The application deadline is December 1.
The cohort will meet for five in-person or virtual half-day seminars in order to to foster interfaith relationships and collaboration through dialogue and to explore what conditions are necessary to achieve individual and social trust. They will
meet with CRLMC faith leaders to build interfaith relationships through dialogue, and with public institutions to explore issues of community concern and identify deficits of mutual trust.
The cohort will select a common focus issue for study and action. As a culminating project, the cohort will design and conduct a half-day conference in late May/early June 2024 for their peers in the metropolitan area.
