We need your help to have a successful year at Hinsdale!

We are looking for volunteers interested in a Chair/Board position or being a committee member. Please check all boxes that you may be interested in.

Board Member/Committee Chair
Has an Executive Committee liaison. Responsible for planning and executing their event(s). Part of the PTA Board which typically meets 2-3x/year.

Jingle Bell Blvd Chair - Event in December. Plans and organizes the event, oversees shopping.

Breakfast with Buddies Chair - Event in Feb/Mar (typically). Organizes breakfast and donations of event.

Carnival Chair - Event Aug/Sept (typically). Organizes the Carnival from planning through conclusion.

Spirit Wear Chair - Throughout the year. Coordinates design and production of spirit wear items.

Staff Appreciation Chair - Throughout the school year. Organizes and plans various appreciation events throughout the year and Staff Appreciation week in the spring.

Event/Activity Lead
Has an Executive Committee liaison. Chairs are responsible for planning and executing their event(s).

Popcorn Fridays Lead - 1 Friday each month (typically). Organizes/plans monthly event and executes with support from volunteers.

Restaurant Nights Lead - Throughout the school year. Coordinates and plans all restaurant fundraising nights ( typically 1x/month).

Committee Members

Responsible for helping plan and execute events under the direction of the Board or Chair person. Most committee roles offer great flexibility in the amount of time required and when work can be done. Joining a committee is a great way to get involved!

*This is not a signup genius for day of event volunteers. Board and Committee Chairs need assistance leading up to events.

Student & Family Events Committee - Year round activity. Helps support various events throughout the school year.

Jingle Bell Boulevard Committee - Event in December. Helps with shopping and planning of JBB with chair.

Fundraising Committee - Year round activity with flexibility. Works with VP of Fundraising to support fundraising initiatives.

Monster Dash Committee - August-October. Helps support one or more of the following: prize packing/distribution, treat coordination, decorations, sponsor solicitation, general support

Carnival Committee - Event in August/September (typically). Helps plan and organize Carnival with chair.

Staff Appreciation Committee - Year round activity. Supports Chair throughout the year.

Other

I'd love to help, but it needs to be things I can do from home or during the evening hours.

I don't want to be in charge, but am happy to help with "busy work".

I own or work for a business that may be interested in learning about donations or sponsorship opportunities.
