Sign up here to be a crew member for Fog City Stomp 2018!

Please register and pay before the event. You will not be assigned shifts until you have registered and paid.

If you plan to volunteer and are unable to pay the full registration amount up front, then contact us at team@fogcitystomp.com to work something out. We check references for new volunteers before confirming hours, so contact us ASAP if you want to work something out before registration opens.

Important things to note:
• We reimburse $10/hour after the event
• We try to offer 6-8 hours per crew member for the weekend
• We prioritize hours for crew members (1) who give more availability, (2) available for consecutive shifts
• We may require every crew member to work at least one class shift and one closing shift

Please contact Suzanne (fogcitystomp+crew@gmail.com) with questions or concerns.

Volunteer History & References
At Fog City Stomp, we hope to find the best crew members for the job. To us, this means vetting our potential crew members based on their experience and references. Experience volunteering at dance events is NOT required. Everyone will need to provide a reference who we can contact about your reliability.
Have you volunteered at a dance event or venue before? *
Experience volunteering at dance events is helpful, but not required.
If yes, please list up to 3 of the most recent events you've volunteered at.
Your answer

This could include theater organizations, clubs, non-profits, etc. Again, not required.
Please briefly describe your role and responsibilities in these positions.
Only 1-2 sentences per role is necessary.
Your answer
Please provide the contact information (name and email) of a reference I can contact in regards to your potential fit as a crew member for Fog City Stomp. *
Your references do not need to be associated with swing dancing. If relevant, please provide the best time to contact your references. I may ask for additional references.

Is there anything else you'd like us to consider for your work schedule for the weekend?
Consider the following: What would be your ideal shifts (no promises)? Would you prefer to complete all of your work in one larger time block? Are you traveling with another crew member & sharing a car/house? Do you prefer to work during the late night or main dance? Is there any time during the weekend you absolutely won't be available? Is there a teacher whose classes you don't want to miss? Are any of your preferences much stronger?
