Get excited for this amazing opportunity!
CITs are expected to exemplify the same code of conduct as staff members, and follow the Scout Oath and Law. CITs are expected to be in Full Field uniform when applicable, and be in Full Activity uniform otherwise.

The CIT program will guide you through 3 weeks of progressive programming that will help develop your leadership skills and provide an opportunity for you to grow as a camper, a leader,  and as a Scout.

During the first week of the CIT program you will experience a week at camp similar to that of a typical camper with a troop. You'll form a unit together, do all troop activities together, and take a full schedule of merit badges. During the second week of the program, you will start to make the transition into the life of a staff member. You will still take merit badge classes, but during your time outside of merit badges you will shadow staff members in various areas of camp. During the third week of the CIT program, you will be completely immersed in the day-to day experience  of a staff member. You will be working in an area and helping staffers facilitate program.

If CITs exceed expectations and excel in the program, there may be an opportunity to be asked to stay for the rest of the summer season as volunteer staff members. Successful completion of the CIT program will give you an advantage and preference when applying for a Camp Staff position in the future.
