Grand Haven Hispanic Heritage Fiesta (hereafter, GHHHF)
September 24, 2022, 11am - 10pm, City of Grand Haven
Location: Grand Haven Central Park
The Fiesta will provide:
● Please Note: Access to electricity is not available for Food Trucks and is only available
to a limited number of booths. Those booths with electricity available will be reserved
on a first-come, first-served basis. If you are given a booth with electricity, you will get
two 110w outlets and must provide your own 100’ heavy-duty outdoor extension cord.
Food & Beverages
● Vendor packaging may not display the Grand Haven Hispanic Heritage Fiesta, Tri-Cities
Puentes Initiative, City of Grand Haven, or any logo other than the vendors.
● Vendor understands that there may be other vendors who may be selling the exact or
similar beverage(s) or food item(s).
Regulations
● Vendor will not operate a food booth or use net profit from the vendor food booth to
support any political party or political candidates.
● Vendor will not display any signage/banner that may be perceived as political or
advertisement for anything other than the vendor itself.
● Vendor will follow all City of Grand Haven and Health Department policies. Failure to
follow all policies and procedures may cause immediate closure of food booth and/or
will jeopardize selection as a vendor in the future.
● Vendor must follow all local and state policies relating to containing COVID-19 at the
time of the festival date.
● Vendor is solely being given access to space at the GHHHF under this agreement.
Vendor, or its volunteers or associates, will not have the authority to represent to any
other individual(s) or organization(s) that s/he is a representative or employee of the
Grand Haven Hispanic Heritage Fiesta, the Tri-Cities Puentes Initiative, the City of
Grand Haven, or any festival sponsor/contributor.
Booth Set-up & Clean-up
● Food Both Vendors will provide own 15x15 tent for assigned booth area. Please use
water buckets or sandbags to secure your tent. Food Trucks will be assigned a specific
area to park.
● Vendor to begin set up of booth no earlier than 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 24,
2022. The event starts at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 24, 2022 and vendors are
invited to be ready by then. It is required that all food vendors must be set up and
ready to serve by 11:00 a.m., at the latest.
● The event ends at 10:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 24 and vendors are encouraged
to serve until the event end. Tear-down may begin as early as 9:00 p.m., at the vendor’s
discretion, so long as service continues until at least 9:00 p.m.
● Vendor will provide all other equipment and resources to operate booth.
● The area around the food booth will be clean and free of litter and vendor will dispose
of refuse, grease and ashes in appropriate containers at all times.
● Vendor ensures that the booth has enough workers to ensure limited waiting time and a
smooth overall operation. No minor children allowed in cooking areas.
● Using thick gauge extension cords in your booth will alleviate power outages.
Parking
● Vendor to secure parking space from legally available spaces. Any illegally parked
vehicles will be ticketed or towed at owner’s expense without prior warning.
● Vendor to inform its volunteer workers/associates of parking and any and all other
policies and procedures. Understand that Vendor vehicles and those of its volunteer
workers/associates parked in any unauthorized area will be ticketed and/or removed
without notice at owner expense.
Permits & Security
● Vendor to obtain the proper sales tax license and agrees to be responsible for the
payment of any sales tax or any other taxes and will pay such taxes to the proper
governmental authority.
● Vendor to obtain liability insurance to cover the cost of activities of vendor against
injury, theft or damage to persons or property as the result of any accident, casualty,
claim or any cause whatsoever.
● Vendor will hold the Grand Haven Hispanic Heritage FiestaTeam, the Tri-
Cities Puentes Initiative, City of Grand Haven, St. John’s Episcopal Church in Grand Haven, other festival sponsors/contributors, owners, and lessees of the property upon which GHHHF is conducted harmless of any form of liability or claim for injury or damages or theft or any other cause whatsoever.
● Vendor understands that GHHHF will not provide security during official hours of the
festival and Vendor agrees items of value left in booth are at vendor risk.
Event Fees
● There is a $300 vendor fee for participation.
● There is a cleaning deposit of $100 per booth, due no later than Friday, July 30, 2022.
This deposit will be refunded after the event if all the guidelines listed under “Booth
Set-up & Clean-up” section are followed.
● There will be no refunds to vendor for acts of God, inclement weather, power failures,
or any other reason whatsoever that may cause the vendor not to be able to operate
the booth. If, after the Agreement is signed, for whatever reason, the vendor is unable
to be a vendor, the booth deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable.
● Make payment (cashier check or money order) payable to TCPI and send to TCPI c/o St. John's Episcopal Church 524 Washington Avenue Grand Haven, MI 49417. OR Pay online by entering the amount owed
at
https://www.tcpuentes.org/support. Please be aware that a processing fee will apply when submitting an online payment.
Per City of Grand Haven Policy
Please review and initial the following requirements. By checking the boxes below to each item, the applicant
acknowledges their review and agreement to comply with the listed requirements as set forth
by the City of Grand Haven City Fire Marshall. If you have questions, please contact the Office

By my signature, I attest the above information is accurate and correct acknowledge and agree
to comply with all applicable requirements of the Michigan Statewide Fire Prevention Code
and the Fire Prevention Code of The City of Grand Haven and it’s referenced standards, even
those not specifically expressed on this application. I also acknowledge that if a vendor is
approved based upon this application, it shall be valid only at the location listed on the
application and for the specific date(s) and time(s) for which it is issued. I further attest that I
have read the agreement, and if selected to participate, I will comply with the terms. I
understand that my signature on this document does not guarantee participation. The GHHHF
reserves the right to select all Vendors. The GHHHF has sole discretion of the location of
vendor’s food booth, number of food booths selected for the festival and replacement. If
approved, I acknowledge that a copy of this application and all its attachments will be available
on-site during the dates and times noted. I further acknowledge and understand that any
violations identified after approval may result in immediate suspension or revocation.
