STEM Scholarship ProgramBeginning in Fall 2025, the National Science Foundation has been funding the prestigious STEM Scholarship Program at Madison College. If you are chosen for this program, you will receive not only a scholarship, but awesome additional benefits. Our goal is to help you complete your degree! This program is designed to connect you to all available resources.
Program Overview
The Madison College NSF S-STEM Scholarship Program is designed to support full-time students majoring in STEM University Transfer (Science, Technology, and Math) or Information Technology. Scholarships are awarded for up to six semesters and range up to $10,000 per academic year ($5,000 per semester) based on financial need. Funds can be used for tuition, fees, books, supplies, equipment, and other educational expenses, as determined by financial need.
Scholarship recipients will have access to a supportive learning community, including faculty mentoring, undergraduate research opportunities, and other resources designed to help them succeed.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the S-STEM Scholarship, students must:
- Be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or eligible non-citizen.
- Demonstrate financial need by completing the FAFSA.
- Be admitted to and enrolled full-time (minimum of 12 credits/semester) in one of the eligible associate degree programs listed below.
- Maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8.
Have the opportunity to engage in activities, such as mentoring, research, or career development opportunities, to support their success.

IT - Cybersecurity Specialist
IT – Cyber Compliance Specialist

IT - Network and Systems Administration
IT - Web Software Developer
