J-WEN Mentoring Workshop 2015

The J-WEN Mentoring Workshop 2015 will be held on August 28th at Institute of Economic Research of Kyoto University. This time, we welcome Donna Ginther at University of Kansas, who was formerly on the board of the Committee on the Status of Women in the Economics Profession (CSWEP) of the American Economic Association (AEA).

Please join us at this opportunity to share our work, experiences, and learn each other. We welcome female economists at all levels, including graduate students.

14:45 – 15:45 Panel discussion 2: Teaching, Admninistrative duties, & Work-life balance, followed by Q & A
15:45 – 16:00 Break
16:00 – 17:00 Breakout sessions (group discussion)

Penel speakers and mentors: Donna Ginther (University of Kansas)|, Takako Fujiwara-Greve (Keio University), Sayaka Nakamura (Nagoya University), Yuka Ohno (Hokkaido University), and more!

Breakout sessions are casual and roughly take the following format:
15 min. mentee presents/explains her paper to the group
15 min. discussion, Q&A, advices, etc.
It would be a great opportunity to receive friendly feedback on your work and get to know about other people's research.
