Through a National Science Foundation (NSF) research award (#2148451) to the East Bay Educational Collaborative (EBEC), MIT, TERC and Scoutlier, we developed a unique, culturally responsive semester-long course for secondary school students to learn about Data Science, Machine Learning and Healthcare via a social justice lens.

For the 2024-2025 school year, we are seeking 1) two more schools to pilot the program in Rhode Island and 2) schools across the country, including Rhode Island, interested in participating in an expanded program.

Data Science, AI and You (DSAIY) is a program built and scaffolded for ALL students.
