Pumpkin Pick Up (November 7th, 10am)

On Wednesday November 7th, IVCSD staff will be riding around Isla Vista picking up pumpkins and jack-o-lanterns to be composted. If you would like to participate, please read the following instructions:

- Fill out this google form

- Please ensure that any paint, glitter, ect. is removed from your pumpkin

- Place your pumpkin on your curb or near your trash bin (whichever is more noticeable) by 10am on Thursday, November 7th

Thank you for helping us reduce the impact on our landfill and turn our organic waste into compost!

If you would like to keep your pumpkin longer than November 4th but would still like to compost it, you can always drop off your pumpkins and any other compostable food scraps at our Community Composting Sites
