Note: Every hiker must fill out and sign a separate Agreement. Minors under 18 years of age are required to have a parent or legal guardian fill out a separate access agreement form on the minor's behalf.

HIKING AREA *
I understand that I am accessing and using private property free of charge, at my own risk. In exchange for this benefit, I hereby agree that I will defend and hold harmless Hawaii Reserves, Inc., Property Reserve, Inc., and its affiliates (referred to here after as “HRI”), for any liability, injury, loss or damage, whether caused by natural conditions, improved conditions, or other users and activities, including other permitted guests, unpermitted trespassers and activities, and wild animals including dangerous dogs. *

I am not accessing or using the trail(s) listed above as part of a paid or commercial tour/group.

I understand that I am accessing private property knowing that potentially unsafe conditions exist on the property, either as a result of the natural conditions of the land, improved conditions, or other users and activities, including permitted guests, unpermitted trespassers and activities, and wild animals including dangerous dogs. I am accessing these properties at my own risk and agree as explained above to defend and hold HRI harmless.

I will engage only in the permitted activity of hiking or walking while on property. I am not accessing the trails for camping and will not engage in the use of firearms, weapons, combat sport equipment (such as paintball or air soft shooting), bicycles, or motorized vehicles. I will not enter HRI farm lands or other properties that are not part of the hiking route or hiking trails.

I will not use illegal drugs, consume alcohol, start fires, or cut down trees on the property. I will obey all laws and conduct myself in an orderly manner at all times.

I am responsible to pack out all of my trash and will be responsible for any damage done to the property and/or facilities, and hereby agree to reimburse HRI for any damages or loss resulting from my use.

I understand and agree that, while this permit is typically valid for six (6) months from the date of issuance, it may be canceled at any time for any reason by HRI, without notice.

This is a legally binding document. By submitting this online form, I affirm that I have read, understand, and agree to all terms and conditions.

By filling out and submitting this access agreement and permit application, the person named above agrees to all of the above conditions and is granted conditional permission to access our hiking trails. 

As noted at the top of this application form, separate forms need to be submitted for each hiker, including minors.  Upon successful completion, you will be told that ‘your response has been recorded’ indicating that your permit is active.
