Lend A Heart also provides support to schools and colleges for student de-stress, health-minded events at work environments, and animal-assisted therapy information and access to other community-based activities.

It enters into an agreement with a school, organization or institution, that requests a presence of its therapy dogs and handlers. These events may happen a few times a year and are not monthly.

There are usually between 2 and 12 teams (handlers and dogs) that attend an event which is at least one hour or more likely two hours.  Lend A Heart needs at least TWO WEEKS NOTICE to recruit teams for an event.
