The outdoor community needs YOU! The Board is made up of club members who volunteer some of their time to help keep the Calgary Section running so we can serve the community better. We do it to give back or to pay ahead to the sports that enrich our lives. Most positions don't require any particular experience or skill (Webmaster and Treasurer would require some) and the positions listed below are open for nominations. If you're interested in a position, run - we always need fresh ideas and unfettered enthusiasm for helping get people enjoying the mountains safely with other mountain-loving people. You can find more about the various positions on the Calgary Section's website at: (http://www.acccalgary.ca/board-positions/). None of the positions are terribly onerous and all offer the opportunity to really make them your own and to help steer the Section in cooperation with other members of the Board.

In this form, you select the position you're interested in, give us a little information on yourself and then provide a blurb which will be published to the membership as part of the election process. You can also let us know (regardless of whether you are running for a position) if you are interested in finding out about helping with one of the Calgary Section's various committees. Alternatively feel free to nominate some other member and we will contact them to confirm their nomination!

Nominations will be open until the end of the day on December 13. Online voting will then take place from December 1 until the AGM on December 13th (where you can also vote) when results will be announced.
