Approximately how far do you live from the gardens? Do you have connection to the Hampden neighborhood?
Do you have reliable transportation to the garden? Do you have reliable free-time in your life for gardening and taking on small responsibilities for our shared space? Will you have big gaps where you're out of town for the upcoming growing year?
There is no landlord or groundskeeper here, so we operate as a co-op in order to spread out the work. In addition to tending an individual plot and its borders, each plotholder is required to spend approx. an hour a month, 6-8 hours total per growing season, on site maintenance for the community spaces of the garden. Any concerns about that?
As a co-op, we also work by consensus, and co-op members are expected to communicate and organize with each other through twice-yearly meetings, work days, and through our email list and Slack channel. Any concerns?
