My goal as your coach is to teach you the necessary skills to become an exceptional archer. The class is designed for beginners but will contain essential information that can improve the skills of even an advanced archer.

If your goal is to shoot off horseback, have fun, hunt, or be a top archer in the Olympics, this class will teach you the vital knowledge every archer should know as they embark on their archery journeys.

This program is a chance to practice a blessed sunnah, slow down and develop yourself, as you learn a sport that fosters discipline, focus, self awareness, efficiency, and power. A gathering with your fellow Muslims in a welcoming and respectful environment to learn what we are truly capable of with a little constancy!

Summer Archery Program:

Start Date: August 17th & 24th (Saturdays)

Time: 10 am

Class run time: 2 hours (each day)

Location: Islamic Center of Morrisville, NC ICM Location

Price: $100

Ages 9 and up

**Payment required by 8/15/2024 to secure your place in class.

What You will learn

The necessary skills needed to hit a target up to 18 meters (around 20 yards)
National Training System (NTS) - A breakdown of official steps of shooting form
How to efficiently use your body to shoot a bow
Coaching techniques that support long-term retention of motor skills
How it all works (Holistic understanding of the process)
Improve mental focus
Learn the many styles of archery
Light history of archery and Islamic relations
Reduce stress and anxiety
Increase strength and stamina

All registrants will receive a welcome email containing a liability waiver as well as payment instructions.
