Voyage Seaward Scholarship Application
Please complete this form to be considered for a scholarship for Voyage Seaward from Call of the Sea.

We offer three Voyage Seaward programs. Our 5-day voyage explores the waters of San Francisco Bay and journeys out the Gate to the open ocean. Our programs are for youth 12-17 years old. The full fee is $800 per student for the 5-day trip.

• All candidates must complete an application and provide a reference other than a family member, such as a teacher, school counselor, clergyman, etc. The application begins on the next page and should be completed by the parent and the student.
• Our target group is between 12-17 years of age. We aim to balance recipients of different gender identities and provide access to students who could not participate without financial assistance.
• Recipients of scholarships will be expected to provide their own transportation to and from the ship located at the Bay Model (Army Corp of Engineers) dock in Sausalito, California.
• Recipients of scholarships will be expected to complete a reflection project of their choosing (ex: a letter, an essay, picture album, visual presentation or video) to summarize their experience. These may be shared in print or on-line.
• The ship caries a Certificate of Insurance. Everyone on the voyage will be required to sign a liability waiver and provide their own medical insurance.
