IMPORTANT EDITOR'S NOTE: Due to some recent personnel changes here at CoinDesk, we have decided to pause the Protocol Village column. As a result, WE WILL NOT BE MONITORING ANY SUBMISSIONS VIA THIS FORM. For project updates and news pitches related to tech and protocols coverage, please email Marc Hochstein at
Guidelines:
Your submission should be brief. We recommend 2-3 sentences or 600 characters MAX, in as simple terms as possible – able to be understood by someone who follows blockchain tech, but who might not be familiar with your particular project or where it fits into the broader industry landscape. Please emphasize details and features over promotional claims. Please note that we may edit any submissions and/or reject them if they do not meet our editorial standards, and we get such a high volume of submissions that we do not have time to respond to them all.
What we're looking for:
- Blockchain tech project updates + upgrades
- Startup fundraising announcements
- Grants for developers
- Hackathons
- Major personnel moves at blockchain infrastructure companies
What we're NOT looking for:
- Marketing partnerships
- Minor integrations/deployments
- Web3-related content + promotion
- Token listings
- Crypto markets news
NOTE: One of our goals is to give readers a way of following up on actionable information. Please include a link where readers can go for more information. This could be a link to a page on your website, press release, Tweet, GitHub, Etherscan smart contract, etc.
ALSO: Please let us know if you are offering this to CoinDesk as an EXCLUSIVE and/or if there is an embargo date/time and/or any other special instructions.
HOURS: Please feel free to submit anytime. Generally speaking we will hold entries submitted late Thursday or Friday until Monday of the following week.
