IWW Organizer Training Request Form
This request form will assist the Organizer Training Committee in providing you with resources and will help us plan for your upcoming training.

This form is for group requests (i.e. GMBs, IUBs, or organizing campaigns). If you are an individual wanting to attend an OT101, please email us at otc@iww.org and we can send you a list of upcoming trainings you can attend

We ask that you plan ahead and submit this form at least 90 days before the training. This will give the trainers enough time to plan travel and accommodations.

Accessibility and Covid Safety Policy
  • Masking with high-filtration masks (n95/kn95/kf94/etc.) is required at all times during trainings, except meals. These should be provided by the branch to trainers and participants as needed. The OTC can help pay for this expense if necessary.
  • When allowable in the state, vaccines are required. Participants and trainers must prove they are vaccinated either with a vaccine card or self-attestation. Where vaccine requirements are not allowed, vaccination is strongly suggested.
  • Require attestation at the door that all attendees have not experienced any Covid-related symptoms within the last week prior to the training.
  • Trainers will stay in hotels rather than in people’s homes, at the expense of the OTC.
  • We strongly recommend that branches pick venues with lots of open space, windows that can be kept open, and/or with strong ventilation systems.
  • We strongly encourage meal times to be held outside to minimize chances of transmission while masks are off. If that is not possible, they should ensure there is a separate space available to eat for trainers or participants on their request.
  • The participant maximum is lowered from 25 to 20 for in-person OTs.
  • Branches are expected to have at least one branch contact who will be responsible for enforcing these policies. If trainers see these policies not being followed, they can call on the branch contact to make sure they are being enforced. Trainers are also empowered to enforce the guidelines if they see them not being followed.
  • Trainers are expected to share these guidelines with participants at the beginning of the training similar to delivering the safer spaces policy with the expectation that they will be followed and collectively enforced if not. If a participant sees the guidelines not being followed they are welcome to bring it to the attention of the trainers or the branch contact.
I have read and agree to abide by the Accessibility and Covid Safety policy above. *
