Swanage Banner Application Form
Local charity and community groups are invited to apply to place banners or posters relating to local events on the three following areas:

1) The railings above the Hardstanding on Shore Road (near the Swanage Information Centre and below Sante Fe Fun Park)
2) The Victoria Avenue / Shore Road junction on the railings by the beach huts
3) The railings on the corner of the Main Beach Car Park, opposite Northbrook Road

These spaces must now be booked in advance for a maximum of 6 weeks.

Please read the terms and conditions below before you complete the application form. Once you have completed the form please press submit and you will receive a copy of the form within your email inbox. A member of staff will then be in contact to advise if your request has been accepted.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1) Commercial advertising is not permitted, unless approved by STC
2) Only banners and posters are allowed and must be no more than 3.00m by 1.00m (landscape) for the Hardstanding and Victoria Avenue Beach Huts areas and no more than 1.90m by 0.70m (landscape) for the Main Beach Car Park area unless otherwise approved by the Town Council
3) All advertising points must be booked in advance
4) All requests, including wording and design, require written approval by STC before placement (delegated authority to VSM/TC).
5) Once an event has passed, all banners will be removed as soon as possible by the owner and the railings left in a clean and tidy state
6) Fixings must be non-plastic and removable, unless otherwise approved in advance. Any use of non-approved cable ties or fixings will result in the removal of the banner
7) The Council will not accept any liability for damage or loss of banners
8) Banners will be affixed by the owners themselves
9) Banners must be checked regularly by the owners for damage and kept clean
10) Banners can be booked for no more than 6 week periods unless agreed by Swanage Town Council
11) Events and messages on banners should have a direct benefit to residents and visitors
12) The Council reserves the right to remove banners at any time and for any reason. If this occurs they will be stored by STC for one month. If not collected within that time the banner will be disposed of
