P&P 2017 News Awards Nominations
This is an open form to solicit suggestions for nominations in the fifth annual Philadelphia News Awards organized and hosted by the Pen and Pencil Club, the country's oldest surviving, open daily private press club.

To be considered, a candidate only needs to be nominated once. (Multiple nominations DO NOT make it any more likely for a candidate to be considered). Each category will be limited to 3-5 nominations, finalized at the discretion of the Pen and Pencil Club board http://www.penandpencil.org/about/

Suggestions will be taken here from Thurs. Nov. 9 until Fri. Nov. 17. Then online voting will take place from Mon. Nov. 20 until Fri. Dec. 1, 2017. Winners of the popular vote will be announced at the Philadelphia News Award ceremony held Thursday, Dec. 14, 2017 beginning at 7pm at the Pen and Pencil Club, 1522 Latimer Street. Only members are allowed at the awards event, but we welcome nominations from others. Find the 2016, 2015, 2014 and 2013 nominees and winners here: http://penandpencil.org/awards
