Thanks for your interest in hosting Shiny Shiny Black for a house concert! We are currently accepting submissions on our waitlist and will be sending out invitations on a rolling basis. Pop onto our FAQ page if you'd like to learn more before submitting!

When we follow up with the possibility of you hosting, we will send you a quote on the cost for the event. This number varies depending on several contributing factors. Hosts fund these events in many different ways, such as personal funds, suggested donations, or finding a partner host or sponsor to help make it happen!

Describe Your Space *

A common question is "how much space is needed, and what kind of space?" We have played in a wide variety of spaces (garages, living rooms, on back porches, yards, apartments, a rented space etc.). It just requires a bit of creativity. Feel free to ask for advice on how to comfortably fit the most people into your space. Gatherings of 30-60 people are quite common, and the small size is part of the beauty of it! Let us know if you're leaning towards hosting an indoor or outdoor event.

Your Date Availability *

This is a tricky one! It'd be best to hear what dates are NOT available for you in June, July, and August of 2025. Or if another timeframe is best for you, you can let us know here. We work to accommodate as many date requests as possible, but we often need to give an offer of several possible dates as we route our tour in a feasible path. Happy to hear what dates work best for you in that process!

Adequate Power Source?

We carry a small PA that works well for house shows when needed. Other times we play unplug. If we are going to use the PA, we'll just need close access to power. Will you be able to provide adequate power?

Event Funding *

We'd love to collaborate with you on how to fund the event to whatever degree thats helpful. To that end, please choose which option you're most interested in.

"Free Admission" - Host agrees to cover guarantee personally or through local sponsorship; guests are not asked for a suggested donation

"Suggested donations" to benefit SSB - Host agrees to promote an agreed upon suggested donation.

Lodging *

This isn't mandatory, but when possible, lodging can be super helpful! However, don't feel obligated, we understand that having house guests is more or less appealing to each household. As such, is lodging available via guest room, hotel accommodations, or Airbnb?

Yes, we would be happy to book lodging for SSB in a nearby hotel/Airbnb and will send options before confirming with the host/hotel

Yes, via "Buyout" we'd like to provide SSB $60/band member for lodging
