2025 San Francisco Shorebird Survey
This form indicates your availability and interest in participating in the San Francisco Shorebird Survey. As part of the broader Pacific Flyway Shorebird Survey effort, this community science effort guides the management and conservation of wintering shorebirds in the Pacific Flyway. The Survey contributes data to the Migratory Shorebird Project, the largest coordinated survey of wintering shorebirds on the Pacific Coast of the Americas spanning 10 countries from Canada to Peru.

Read about volunteer responsibilities here: http://data.prbo.org/apps/pfss/index.php?page=volunteer Note that there will be a new data entry form this year - keep your eyes peeled for more details in your site assignment email!

This form will be used by the San Francisco Bay Bird Observatory to assign sites in south San Francisco Bay (e.g. Union City, Newark, San Jose, Mountain View, Palo Alto). If you want to volunteer in north San Francisco Bay instead, contact Matt Reiter (mreiter@pointblue.org).

Contact SFBBO Lead Biologist Amy Parsons (aparsons@sfbbo.org), with any questions about this form.
