A Conversation on  Epiphanies: Moments When “God” “Speaks”

Have you ever tried to interpret epiphanies that God has sent your way?

Whether your answer is yes, no, or I'm not sure, you're invited into a conversation that welcomes curiosity, questions, and reflection.

This fall, First UCC Milford will host an interactive series centered on Epiphanies: Moments When God Speaks, a new book in development by First Church member Donald Elliott.

Don explores epiphanies that have shaped his own life alongside those found in Scripture, suggesting they offer a way for believers and skeptics alike to discover new wisdom, a lesson,​ or some deeper meaning in their experience.

More than a book discussion, this will be a collaborative workshop. Participants will hear from the author, offer feedback on his manuscript, reflect on their own experiences, and engage in meaningful conversation in a welcoming community.

Sessions will be held in person in Fellowship Hall at First Church, with Zoom participation available for those joining from elsewhere. We are excited to welcome participants from Preston Hollow Presbyterian Church in Dallas, Texas and others around the country!

The series is planned for 9 AM on Tuesday, September 22, 29, October 6 and 13, 2026. We will meet in person at First UCC Milford, Fellowship Hall 34 West Main Street or via Zoom.
