Benefits of Participating:-Your salon name/individual name/Logo added to a PGHFW website, a link posted to social media and listed in the event program-Backstage photography of your team working.-Invitation to educational workshops offered by PGHFW
You will be required to provide your own product and styling tools, unless otherwise directedAll style teams must work onsite for their designer unless previously discussed with PGHFW.No cutting or coloring of hair is to be performed in the venue.
Important Note:As a member of Pittsburgh Fashion Week, we want to create a team working atmosphere, therefore all salons will be assigned to different designers!
We have FOUR unique positions available:
1.) Lead Hair and Makeup Artist :A Lead Artist works directly with the Director of Hair & Makeup and the Designer’s Concept with the team to create the designers final look for Pittsburgh Fashion Week.To be a Lead Artist, you must have strong communication, leadership skills, master skill level and must attend both creative team meetings and the show.
2.) Hair and Makeup Artist: An Artist creates the designers vision in creative team meeting with lead artist and at PGHFW.Must attend final team meeting and show.
3.) Emerging Hair and Makeup Artist :An Emerging Artist works to create and assist lead artists and artist at creative team meetings and the show.
4.) Nail Artist :A Nail Artist will create theme visions onto nails and must be at final team meeting and show.
Deadline:Application deadline is June 1st. You will be notified via email our decision on your participation with PGHFW.
The show dates are still TBA and the show date will be Thursday night. Fashion Week will take place closer to the end of the September or the beginning of October.
