YOA 2020 Membership Registration
Use this form to register you and your family for membership and programs for the 2020 season. Memberships are valid until March 31, 2021.

In this summer of Covid-19 public health restrictions, information about the upcoming events, map pickup locations, etc. is being delivered electronically. We will be relying on your email address to communicate information to you. Your email address is also required to send registration confirmation and payment instructions.

NOTE: Your copy of this registration will come from "forms-receipts-noreply@google.com". You will also receive an email from "registration@yukonorienteering.ca" which contains information about paying your registration fees. A paper waiver will need to be signed for each member.

Event Payment Options
Please visit yukonorienteering.ca to view the event schedule for 2020. The first event opens on May 6, 2020.
• Pre-pay personal (non-transferable) pass to all 12 B-meets and Yukon Champs planned for 2020 - $80
• Junior program members are automatically prepaid for all events (benefit is non-transferable).
• Pay at each event - fee is $10 (must also be a member)

Navigation 101
This program is intended for adults who are new to the sport of orienteering. The program will include pre-planned, self-directed training sessions with followup via phone or video conferencing with your coach (special arrangement owing to Covid-19 restrictions). Note that a separate training program (at no charge) is available for parents of juniors. Please see our web site www.yukonorienteering.ca for details. This training program does NOT include prepaid events.
Navigation 201 (formerly Adult Intermediate)
This program is intended for adults with a basic understanding of orienteering who are looking to challenge themselves, improve their skills, and enjoy themselves in the woods. The program will include pre-planned, self-directed training sessions with followup via phone or video conferencing with your coach (special arrangement owing to Covid-19 restrictions). Please see our web site yukonorienteering.ca for details. This training program does NOT include prepaid events.
Parent Helper Program
If your child is signing up for the junior program, we offer free-of-charge video training sessions to show you the basics so that you can help your child complete their exercises. This course is for parents who are new to orienteering.

Junior Training Program
With Covid-19 restrictions, the junior program is being delivered as a self-directed training program with assistance from a parent or guardian. The parent or guardian must be a YOA member. Each week, participants will receive access to a training session (with map and detailed explanation). At the end of the week, your coach will be available at a pre-arranged time for a group video conference. The registration fee includes access to all 12 regularly-scheduled events. The program runs 6 weeks beginning in the week of May 11, with possible extension through the summer. Please see our web site for details. The junior training program DOES include prepaid events.
Waiver *
YOA members must sign a waiver to participate in any programs or courses offered by YOA. Orienteering Canada requires that the waiver be signed on paper with a pen. The waiver is available for download on the web site (www.yukonorienteering.ca). Blank waivers are also available in the map distribution box located at 188 Valleyview Dr. Minors must have a parent or guardian sign the waiver on their behalf.
