Nevada Association for Positive Behavior Support
The Purpose of the Nevada APBS Network is to extend the awareness of Positive Behavior Support in Nevada, with the ultimate purpose being to enhance the quality of life of Nevadans with disabilities and challenging behavior through directed, evidence based instruction, consultation and systematic change. Our goal is to build the capacity of families, schools and community agencies to provide sustainable, meaningful behavior support. The Nevada APBS Network facilitates the development of new partnerships with school districts, community agencies and other stakeholders. The primary purpose for establishing an APBS Network in Nevada is: (1) to give recognition and identity to the many collaborating individuals, professionals and organizations in the state that are currently engaged in activities related to positive behavior support and (2) to strengthen our efforts to encourage the adoption and implementation of PBS approaches in additional venues that could benefit from.

As a member, you will receive monthly newsletters, which consists of quick updates on one PBIS project/month and honor an individual or school in Nevada that are successfully using PBIS in their homes, schools, or communities. Additionally, if you wish to receive updates on when specific PBIS trainings or classes will be held, those will be made available to members.
