Allegro registration supplement (also fill in NVYO registration form)
Allegro is a great way to gain confidence in an orchestral setting! Most Allegro students have studied for two or more years, take private lessons, and play in their school orchestra programs if available. Students are expected to read music, be able to follow a conductor, and have a working knowledge of all four strings and 1st position finger patterns. Approximate level: Suzuki or school orchestra book mid-book 2 to late book 3. Rehearsals are Monday evenings 6:30-8 pm, with additional sectionals and dress rehearsals as scheduled. Seating is rotated frequently. Allegro has two formal concerts per season, with some added community performances. A $120 fee covers instruction for the second semester, sectionals, music use, a tshirt, and 4 concert tickets.
