Woldumar Nature Association Photo Policies and Permit Application
As a private nonprofit association with a mission to educate people about the natural
environment, we encourage people to experience nature through a camera lens. Visitors may take pictures for their own personal use during regular business hours. General trail fees apply.

Portrait photography (amateur or professional), commercial photography, and photography
classes or clubs require a permit and additional fees may apply. Under this policy, commercial photography is defined as ANY photography conducted:

 for a fee;
 for the purpose of selling photos (digital or prints);
 for the promotion of a business, product or service; or
 for any purpose except personal, private use.

THIS PERMIT WILL BE REVIEWED BY OUR HOSPITALITY MANAGER, WHO WILL CONTACT YOU WITHIN 3 BUSINESS DAYS. An invoice will be emailed to you for credit card payment, or you can pay in person by cash or check.

Photography sessions must be scheduled and prepaid at least 7 days in advance. Under each permit, a photographer may work with up to 2 different clients for 2 hours total. Shoots scheduled for more than 2 hours, sessions with more than 2 clients, or any shoots that deviate from these guidelines require a separate agreement. Under no circumstances do we allow nude or sexually suggestive poses, photography deemed hateful, disparaging, or otherwise inappropriate by the Association or its appointees. *

I will respect the grounds, facilities, staff, and other visitors. I will abide by “leave no trace” principles to ensure the stability of Woldumar’s diverse habitats. I release and hold harmless the Woldumar Nature Association, its employees, volunteers, agents, officers and affiliates from any and all injuries, damages, losses and claims arising out of my time spent on Association property. *
