To join this study, you would participate in one session at the Royal Ottawa Mental Health Centre. Your data and responses would be confidential, and your name will not be associated the any of the data.
The session will take between 3-4 hours, and involve a recording session which samples brain activity with a non-invasive method called electroencephalography (EEG). EEG refers to the recording of the brain's spontaneous electrical activity, as recorded from multiple sensors placed on the scalp. During the experiment, the researcher would ask you to complete some tasks about organic chemistry on a computer.
The session takes place at the Royal Ottawa Mental Health Centre in Ottawa, Ontario. Everyone who participates will receive a $50 gift card. Participation is voluntary and is not related to your uOttawa courses in any way. If you have any questions, contact Dr. Amanda Bongers: firstname.lastname@example.org.
