Undergraduate Student Leader

This award is given to an ISU undergraduate student who has exemplified the qualities of a leader throughout their time as an ISU Bengal. Qualities include strong leadership skills, impact on the campus community, and involvement in a variety of organizations and activities both on and off campus. Students nominated for this award should have accomplishments, service, and leadership geared towards the advancement of not only their goals, but to the betterment of the University.

The recipient will receive a $500 cash award.

Eligibility & Criteria:

Currently enrolled full-time ISU undergraduate students in good standing with the University are eligible. Undergraduate students must have a minimum GPA of 3.0.

Leadership: establish and achieve goals, mentor others, positive representative of the organization and self, make proactive decisions to achieve advancements, and a strong rapport with peers, staff, and faculty.

Campus and Community Service: active involvement with co-curricular and non-academic activities and groups. Involvement should provide opportunities to students and/or community members.

University Mission Advancement: students actively demonstrate their ability perform a task and passion for what they do. The contributions and impacts of the student clearly demonstrate why their efforts should be recognized and celebrated.
