Here are a few ways your group can get involved:
| VOLUNTEER MOVIE NIGHT | We host monthly movie nights where volunteers watch a fun flick, while preparing no-stopping signs and other various materials for our upcoming Sunday Streets events. Great for socializing and meeting new people!
Wednesdays 6pm-8pm
Good for groups of up to 15 people.
| STREET TEAM | Be a part of the street team and get a head start in exploring a neighborhood where an upcoming Sunday Streets will take place. Volunteers will walk around the community distributing door-hangers to inform residents of street closures and traffic detours. Great for those who enjoy walking outside and exploring San Francisco.
Thursdays and Saturdays, 3-hour shift
Good for groups of up to 15 people.
| VOLUNTEER AT SUNDAY STREETS | Each Sunday Streets route has one or more intersections where vehicles are allowed to cross through the route. Volunteers help ensure everyone has a safe and fun time at the event by ensuring people biking and walking stop safely at the intersection, when vehicle traffic is allowed to cross. Volunteers may also help answer general questions, distribute event maps, and solicit donations.
Sundays, 11am-2:30pm or 1pm-4:30pm
Good for groups of 4 or more. Larger groups may be assigned more than one intersection. Training included prior to shift.
| ADOPT-AN-INTERSECTION AT SUNDAY STREETS |

Your volunteers will ensure people biking and walking at Sunday Streets stop safely when vehicle traffic is allowed to cross through your intersection. Additionally, you have the opportunity to promote your group by hosting an activity or information table adjacent to the intersection. Bring music, games, dance, crafts, or hula-hoops. This is your chance to get creative!
Sundays, 9:45am-4:15pm
Good for groups of 4 or more. Larger groups may be assigned two intersections. Training required for group leaders.
