~SAFETY TOWN ~
Made possible by the Mahwah Board of Education
An Opportunity for Social Development and Interaction with Future Classmates!
“Safety Town” is an early childhood education program designed to introduce all types of safety conditions. During our five-day program, children learn safety behavior through their own involvement. They do this by role-playing in simulated and actual life situations under the guidance of teachers and student volunteers. Safety songs, stories, movies, and visits with the police, fire department, and first aid personnel make this program a fun learning experience that children eagerly look forward to attending!
